the pre story has you leave your most prevous port city of your choice with a strange letter. This letter contains a Boat ticket and instructions on a Pokemon League that's due west of Johto. There were requirments to the league that required you to leave any prevous pokemon you own behind to increat the chalenge of the League.
Your Due into the Port of Volans Town. There the letter instructs you to
head to the local Poke Center and take and request a ride to Gemini Town.
Further explination will be given apon arival to Gemini Town.
Apon entering the League you will chose two of the Starters as your pare of
pokemon for all the 2 on 2 Gym Battles.
