Afgebeeld is een M43 Para-uniform van de 82e divisie 504 PIR.. Deze zijn ingevoerd in 1943. Ze zijn van steviger katoen gemaakt dan de voorloper de M42 (1942 model). Daarbij een T5 Parachute met chestpak, verderop meer detailfoto's. Dit uniform behoorde tot Dhr. Bernstein. Hij is gesprongen in Normandie en Italie. Tijdens Marketgarden was hij nog in Frankrijk gestationeerd. Zowel de broek, laarzen, jas en helm zijn op zijn naam. Verder ziet u Leren parahandschoenen, Colt holster, Airborne kompas, droplicht en een imitatie handgranaat.

He is wearing the M43 Paratrooper Combat Uniform, which was introduced
in 1943, he has a holster for his Colt.
He is wearing a fixed T-5 Patachute Harness and the reservechute.
The men of the 82nd jumped into Italy and Normandy,and jumped in to
Holland during Operation Market Garden, this Uniform belonged to
DHR.Bernstein and this Paratrooper saw action in Italy and jumped in to
Occupied Normandy in France during D-day operation Overlord!!.
The boots, jacket, trousers and helmet have his name written in it.
The other items are a Droplight, a compas and a immitation handgranade!! |
