| 02/18/05 Well it's been like a whole year since i updated this, but anyways i've got a lot to tell you. First off, the band you once knew as Basement, is now called, the Airbags (i know it's still uncreative, but we're trying really.) The bands, The Melodic Few, and Vertigo are no more. Well actually, TMF is still a band they just aren't friends anymore (so i think that makes them not a band) and Vertigo may still be a band, but they are now in the indie film business (i think?). In further news i'm helping record the instrumentals for local band Gloria Duex new album. They will be added to the roster this spring. Our band the Airbags, is making great progress on the new album, In the Broken Sky. The album will have about 16 tracks, and will be out by the summer (hopefully) The cover art is already finished, it will have pictures of the bands hands, taken by local photographer Monique Ireland (in otherwords my girlfriend.) and some other stuff that i did on my computer. I'm sure so many people are reading this right now...Oh and I came out with a solo album it's called: Zach Smith "do the insomnia" |

| 07/07/04 hey everyone not too much news lately...no wait there's a ton of news! Well our band Basement has been talking about a new recording (it's untitled at this point) three new songs have been written so far, it should include a few of the same songs from their first EP, "Dress the World in Formal Wear" and also include a lot more new ones, Luke says, "We want to make more serious songs for this one, we were listening to Bright Eyes in the Car and I said 'Man I wanna make a song like this' and so we started making songs in a serious way." More information is available on their website. In other news the recording of the Melodic Few's debut album has been post poned until the boys are back from summer band camp(geeks lol!) anyways when they return home recording should start and the record should be available by this fall. And in other news, a new band has been added to the PTD records roster, they are The Antropophobs, formerly known as Crazy Fish Meat. I've been in contact with David(the guitarist) and he says they're anxious to record an album. The details are sketchy, and the band is still trying to decide on some title names. they also need a drummer so if anyone out there reads this then respond dammit.anyways things are looking up at PTD bye bye... -Zach |
