PT Discindo's history is murky. Barefoot and friendly ex-hippies (is that a fair characterization, Spechalske? Karen) brought the game to the Indonesian archipelago in the late 1980s but failed to nurture it, and in the early 1990s it died, in part because the Jakarta International School started to charge for field space. The reincarnation came in 1995, with a friendly Sunday afternoon hobby morphing for many into an obsession. In time we became the best equatorial, co-ed ultimate team in the world. All are welcome, but few dare. It should be pointed out that Discindo is 5-0 in the parties at every tournament we (or our representatives) have competed in.

 
          The team plays every Sunday afternoon at 2 in Central Jakarta on the field closest to the Jakarta Hilton Convention Center at the Senayan sports complex.
