What to expect from our Educational Shows: Our shows are geared toward education. We try and teach the children to respect and admire reptiles and amphibians, and allow them to get a closer look at them. We explain snake, lizard, and amphibian anatomy, reproduction, ranges, sizes, and many other interesting facts. We also allow the children to touch some of the animals as to dispell the myths of them being slimy, mean, etc. We also let the children and teachers know how they can get involved in keeping reptile and amphibian populations striving in their communities. What we bring to our shows: We currently have these species available for shows: - 2 Female Eastern Garter Snakes (accquired locally for conservation efforts) - 1 Pair of Brown Anoles - 1 Pueblan Milksnake (Apricott phase) - 1 Western Ribbon Snake - 1 Rose Hair Tarantula - 2 Chinese Fire-belly Newts - 1 Wall Gecko * We may bring other species but you will be notified of the change. |
