What is the site about? Psyvampyres.com is about psychic vampyrism. This is known with many different names throughout the net, but here it is for those who are occultist's, pagans, wiccans, wittans, witches, socerer's, mages, sages, magickal people who manipulate energy for whatever reason or purpose, or "drain" it in the act that makes them "vampyres".

By Vampyres I do not mean they act or look ghastly like the hollywood, movie or book vampyre. Some may or may not drink blood, which is also an energy source, if they do drink blood they do not do it because they need it like the hollywood vampyre, Bloodletting/feeding for the psychic vampyre is an energy source for which they do for extra pointage in energy drain or something they do between lovers, and yes it is always done safely, and blood is not taken in large quantity's. Psyvamps who take blood are not Sanguines. sanguines drink blood because they like the taste and the image, and they have grown addicted too the lifestyle of bloodfeeding like a coke addict craves cocaine.

PsyVamps are not lifestylers, meaning most of us do not dress up like Anne Rice, Lestat, Louis, Elvira, Mortisha, valek, and or any other sexy/handsome vampire male or female. We may roleplay in games like vampire : the masquerade but we recognize it as only a game, nothing more.
People who play vampire the masquerade are not trying too be or nor do they think they are Real vampires. VTM is a game played with character sheets, a "script" you write about your character and is someone you "act out" during LARP (Live Action Role Play) or TT (table Top). PsyVampyres are not Psycho, crazy, fruitlooped or insane, they are however different, can be seen as creepy, arrogant, snobbish, full of it, know it all, wierd, Odd, Loners, wet blankets and more for the energy vibes they give out can creep people out as well as turn people on, but there is nothing sexy about it. Being a Vampyre is something you are born with inside, something we call Latency, meaning you are born from normal birth with normal parents who are not vampyres, the vampyre part about you is in your astral makeup DNA.

When a PsyVampyre Awakens this means she/he has remembered past lives of themselves, crave and or feed on energy or blood, and or exhibit psychic abilities such as clairvoyancy (can see visions) telepathy (hear/read/see thoughts) empathy (hear/feel/sense emotions), and tele-empathy (see/hear thoughts at same time of sense/feel feelings) there are many more abilities but more about this on the Vampyrism pages Right here.

The Awakened part of the vampyre is the Astral Soul, One's Spirit. Yes everyone has heard vampyres don't have souls, because they don't feel emotional boundries, or whatnot. A Soul is something that animates your physical living body, it is the real You that is being housed. Your "ghost body" It is not something you feel emotions by, that is called Humanity, and yes we live outside the realms of normal humanity.

The Unawakened part is not being one with that soul. The awakening usually happens too the vampyre when she or he goes through a very tramatic experience (near death experience, extreme sickness, coma, car wreck) in which the awakened part struggles for survival, gets triggered instinctly and breaks too the surface too keep the individual from dying.

An Awakened vampyre is an more astral and mental process than spiritual and physical though it effects those areas too. An awakened vampyre subconscience becomes complete and one with the conscience mind, where symbols and hidden meanings in visions and such are listened too rather than ignored by a normal person. This has too be so completely in order too use our abilities like we need too. Many newly awakened vamps choose too ignore these abilities and what they are. The Physical effects are the non-tanning, non-aging, very pale skin, tough skin, colder feet and hands, coarser hair, stronger hair, and strange reaction too differences in tempature: Can get cold really easily, and may break out in a rash if exposed too extreme humidty and heat. It is not the sun that does us in, it is the heat and humidity. I would say on average, about 95% of psyvampyres enjoy thunderstorms, rain, fog, and snow immensely. Thunderstorms because of the electrons in the air - great feeding materials. But you need too be careful, feeding during a thunderstorm can make you an instant lightening rod! (So be careful!) You may also devolpe dyslexia (as I did) Dyslexia is typing numbers, and words backwards, becayse the interpetation of data from thought process too hand is done so fast, it gets turned around.
