Prana Vampyrism is the act of feeding on blood for energy purposes, pranas also take energy as well as feeding on the energy in the blood. (thats why its called pranic vampyrism) Pranas do not cut or syringe their willing mates. (some may have donors but not in the same sense that sanguines try and have donors) We bite instead, as in bite lightly and or snip the skin. We have naturally sharp incisors on both top and bottom jaws, in which we can do this and not leave a noticable mark (and no huge chunk of skin missing as sanguines seem too think) and I can hear many of you saying biting is germy and gross. (And Drinking someone's blood, and or semen isn't? *yes semen is also an energy lifeforce* Kissing is also gross in the same way but no one gives a damn about getting germs that way. Odd that...)

Back Too what I was saying, Pranas may bite lightly or snip the skin and withdraw the blood they need, no more than a mouthful, or sometimes not even that much, because sometimes psys take blood from other psys, and our skin does not allow much bleeding..its tough as hell too scratch, cut, and or bite and get blood out of and it clots amazingly quick which also hampers blood feeding.

Pranas are not the same as Sanguines/Sangs/Sanguinarians. This term came about because of Sanguinarius' site. She coined this term and is amazingly responsible for the main online subculture vampyrism you see online today. Sanguines love blood, because they think drinking it "because they lust for it" (blood is addictive but you don't need to drink blood too keep on living) makes them vampyric, and the more they drink they think, makes them more vampyric. (And you'll know them when you see them, they'll look like Mortisha on the addalms family go by the names lady or lord, master or mistress *insert child of darkness name here* and claim to be of house, clan, or coven this, or as Cordelia said on One episode of Buffy, the Poster Child for YucK.) They almost always have a cape, cloak, gown of something dark red or black, and vampire teeth by sabretooth or dnash, and vampire claws and contacts. Especially if they babble overly long about the "Long Black Veil" and or the "Sanguinarium".

Honey, I don't know about most, but regardless of the "community" you are trying to protect or hide from "all the normal people who might try and stake us" Dressing like that and acting like your pet black cat just died is NOT the way too do it. Am I right?

Sure there's Nothing wrong with drinking blood if you like its taste, dressing like that, or saying you belong too the established order or morpheus dominas noctem. There's nothing wrong with fetishism, its just not real Vampyrism!
What I dislike most about sanguinism and its scene is, they think they are really real vampyres, and they go around believing it and acting like and telling everyone what a vampyre is, when its not and never has been. Then lonely kids who want so bad too be cool like them and be "vampires" start cutting themselves and drinking blood when they don't need too do that, and sanguines will be more than happy too show you how too cut yourself, "correctly".

This is a load of bullshit. You *if you are prana or psy/psi* you don't need too cut anyone to get energy, your body will take it automatically. sanguines try so hard too out do the psyvampyres, but they fall short every time, and there is a rift in the community for a reason.

Believe me, If Vlad The Impaler was a real vampyre, he would laugh his britches off at the way most "sanguines" parade about and act, and would most likely have all of you beheaded for looking and acting like pansy asses over his "lore". Don't you ever wonder how you look or act? Or wonder who the hell is watching you?

Sanguines drink so much blood when it never does anything for them, but makes them sick. Drink too much blood and it will curdle in your stomach and you will yak it all back up, and trust me, thats not an experience you want.

Psys can and do in fact Drink and feed on Blood. I see sites all the time now, saying psys don't drink blood, because they take energy. Well whats in blood? prana, aka energy, lifeforce.Pranas in fact do take other forms of energy besides blood as well, anything that has a lifeforce. Read about why we take energy When you first awaken, either by blood of another psy vamp, you want more blood. This wanes away over time as you awaken more and begin to take more energy and become more used too what you are.

Psys are therefore Prana Vamps as well as Psys, and Pranas are psys. Also a Note, Psi-Vampyres are the same thing as Psy-Vampyres. I saw some site that decided that a psivamp was the latent form and the psyvamp was the awakened by latent blood type. A Psyvampyre is as latent as the Psivampyre. Its the same thing, one is not more different than the other. The only thing different but like a Psyvampyre is a PSIONIC. These are mortals who have taught themselves how too use and manipulate energy (except they don't drain it) they also use crystals and boxes of mirrors too help amplify their psychic talents and distances. In the most, psionics don;t need too mess with most of these talents, because they are not prepared too deal with the toll and tiredness that comes from messing with such experiments. But thats only a celtic Shaman's Point of View.
