Background: At first look, he's your average tuff guy...the torn jeans, the cut off gloves, the brown bomber jacket,the long hair-but just below the surface lies this sweet guy searching for acceptance in a world that's never wanted him. Like most of the Brotherhood,Lance hasn't had it easy. He was recruited by Mistique after destroying a big chunk of his old school,and was sort of proclaimed the unofficial leader of the group.
He seems to have away to command the Brotherhood without sounding militant like Scott, so they respect him a great deal, and even accepted him back when he tried to join the X-Men. Lance has been playing the parental figure for the Brotherhood since the untimely departure of Mistique and Magneto, not an easy task to do, especially they are constantly mocking his obsession with Kitty Pryde.
