As I lay here

Thinking of you;

I pray this love

Will always stay true.

For if you

Were to leave,

I don’t know

What I would ever do.

As I'm slain

With these stones

That are

Carelessly thrown;

Reminding me

Of how I dwell

In a heart

I should have

Never been in.

Yet,

My love for you

Grows, day by day.

As I dodge

Another stone

Thrown by those,

Who swear their love to me?

Though, they close

Their eyes to the truth;

Of you being the one

Who makes me happy?

Dodging stones
