A dark,
Dreadful night,
Riled,
For a fight
As the intruder
Runs away.
Everything is fading,
As I beg her to stay.
I put my hand to the window,
As we drift a part.
Though she never looks,
As she blends my heart.
Tears follow,
In this night of Hell.
Alone, without her,
In this solitary cell.
My chest
Has been beaten.
All hope
Has been deployed.
All that remains now
Are ashes
Of dreams
That have been destroyed.
And these demons
That are chasing me,
While they laugh
In the heat.
Smiling
Blissfully
At my utter defeat.
Utter Defeat
