I came here,
Merely as a seed.
You planted me,
Watered me,
Watched,
As I grew strong.
So strong,
That you replanted me
In your prime garden.
However, you planted me
In a time of drought.
A time when,
I could merely
Cling onto
The small amount
Of water available,
While, I strove for survival.
I continued to grow,
But seeing,
I only produced
A small amount of flowers
Throughout this time of drought,
You want to dig me up
By my roots,
And replant me again.
Hoping that I will flower
In full bloom.
When all I ever needed
Was more water.
