The band PSYCHEDELIC LUNCHBOX has exploded onto the music scene by releasing two CDs simultaneously. The first one is entitled 'LAUNCH TIME' and the second one 'SCENES FROM THE DUNGEON'. Both are lyric-free expressions of unbounded optimism tempered by a Kafkaesque undercurrent the sophistication of which has not been seen in the western world. Band leader and musical genius Mike Sonnel says: "It was not necessary to add lyrics to these works since they are quite complete as they are. The inclusion of words would be an unnecessary distraction from the music.I'd just as soon record crickets chirping. The world is an awesome place and I am humbled by it. I mean, like, there are so many unanswered questions. Like do flowers emote? Am I a flower? Are you a cricket? When I die I would like somebody close to me to peel some of my skin off with a potato peeler and hold it up to the sun. Then, as you look through it, you will know the color of my soul!
