X-Men: Mutant Academy 2

Review
X-Men Mutant Academy 2 is a 3D one-on-one
fighting game. Six new X-Men characters join the ranks from it's prequel. Six
new arenas including the X-Mansion and Muir Island. Professor X teaches you the
many moves available to your character in the Academy Training mode.
THE GOOD: Nice 3D designs, runs smoothly.
Updated moves and new fighting style. In Cerebro mode you can check out behind-the-scenes
character sketches, costume designs and movie set sketches from the X-Men movie.
THE BAD: Hit damage is too small and
takes a long time to win a round. Enemy won't hesitate to "dog" you
constantly with same move.
PSYLOCKE: You have to unlock Psylocke in
order to use her. (Unlock her by beating the game on any difficulty with
Wolverine.)
OVERALL: X-Men Mutant Academy 2 is
the next step up from previous X-Men 2D fighters. The new Psylocke looks great,
and she's got plenty of new moves to experiment with. A very good game!
RATING:
out of five.
