X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse

Review

X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse is a side-scrolling platform game. You can choose between five different X-Men. Select either training mode or mission mode, and use your mutant powers to embark on a dangerous adventure.

THE GOOD: Large characters and clean, solid graphics. Decent sound effects.

THE BAD: Tediously slow and repetitive. Lacks staying power.

PSYLOCKE: You may play as Psylocke at any time during the game.

OVERALL: X-Men : Mutant Apocalypse is a solid platform game, but not fantastic. It's great to be able to use Psylocke (and a very "solid" Psylocke at that), but the levels can get a little tedious.

RATING: out of five.
