X-Men: Children of the Atom

Review

X-Men: Children of the Atom takes your PC or Playstation deep into the intricate, and oft ignored, realms of the 2D fighter. This 1-on-1 fighting game brings a variety of X-Men characters to choose from. The art and game play is very similar to Capcom's Marvel Super Heroes. Certain standards carry over from these titles such as anime characters, tight control, and fast, yet manageable, action.

THE GOOD: Big moves and power combos. excellent animated graphics and art.

THE BAD: It's almost too similar to Marvel Super Heroes. When several special effects are on screen at the same time, the game slows down significantly.

PSYLOCKE: You may play as Psylocke at any time during the game.

OVERALL: X-Men: Children of the Atom follows the 2D fighter pattern closely and the end result is nothing new, but is certainly one of the better Psylocke games available.
