X-Men 2: Clone Wars

Review

This is the second X-Men game from Sega for the old Genesis (Mega Drive) console. The gameplay is similar to side-scrolling action of the previous title. No more X-Men vs. X-Men, this is an adventure about an alien force known as the Phalanx who is out to control the earth. Only the X-Men can stop them.

THE GOOD: Fast, Smooth-scrolling, large, clear characters. Psylocke's freedom of movement with her katana blade makes her one of the best characters to use in the game.

THE BAD: No save feature for a tough game with limited lives. Scenery can get boring.

PSYLOCKE: You may play as Psylocke at any time during the game.

OVERALL: X-Men 2: Clone Wars is one of the best platform games made during it's era.  One of very few adventure games where the X-Men actually take on bad guys instead of comrades!
