Review

Delivering arcade gameplay in the classic Capcom style, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 pits Capcom’s legendary characters and Marvel’s world famous super heroes against each other for some matches of epic proportions and several different modes of play. Plus there are some rather surprising hidden characters to discover.

THE GOOD: The game features more than 50 playable characters to choose from. You can use more than one character at a time in a single battle. Smoother graphics than it's predecessor.

THE BAD: Often confusing with too many actions and flashes of bright colours strobing the screen. The graphics are slightly out-dated.

PSYLOCKE: Psylocke can be selected as a fighter at the beginning of the game.

OVERALL: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 can be a fun game to play, but the 2D element might have seen it's day.

RATING: out of five.
