2001 Toyota Rav-4
This is my ride.  I bought her brand new from the toyota dealer  in Stone Mountain Georgia.  Then I went to work on her.  First I got 2 vibrating seat covers that I got for a good price of 9 dollars each.  Then I got a Sony Xplode tape deck, Sony Xplode 10 disk CD changer and 3 500watt MTX subs powered by a 1000 watt Sony Xplode amp.  The best thing about it is the 20 inch Arelli Assassyns with low profile tires.  I have recently added a 5 inch LCD screen, a Sony Playstation and power inverter.  I love the features of the Rav-4 my favorite feature is the cigarette lighter in the trunk.

Well the unthinkable happend some one STOLE my car from me at gun point outside of my appartment.  But I hopped on my celly and called the police and they caught him.  Not before he did some terrible damage to my ride.  $4000 dollars worth not including puncturing 2 of my tires and mangleing two of my rims by scratching them on curbs.

My insurane company was really great about it though they got the damage fixed for me and told me I did not have to pay anything,  and that they were going to go get the money from the guy who stole my car.  When we went to court I found out that they guy was only 17, and that the cops didn't find a gun.  I said Wow, I'm so surprised they didn't find the gun.  But they told me that the guy was still going to get about 10 years.  I thought to myself that's good at least.  No one's going to get away with my RAV4.

Guess what now!!  It snowed here in Georgia last night and I had to go to the corner store for my pregnant wife.  I was going maybe 5 miles per hour and I lost control of my rav.  I hit a crub and bounced off of it and hit it again and slide along side of the curb for about 4 seconds.  My passager side rim is ruiend.  On top of all that the axle broke, but it did not snap in two so I called my dad and he said that I should try to drive it home.  So I did and I made it.  But now I am stranded now.  With no car how can I do anything.  I don't have enough dough right now to pay for my deductable.  How great.

I realized I haven't updated in a while so here it goes.  All is well now.  My car is back to normal again.  I thought my axle was broken, but it was a strut and a spindle.  It cost me nearly 800 dollars to get the whole thing fixed.  But I finally got it back.  I have since removed the Playstation the power inverter and the 5inch LCD.  They were kind of in there bootleg anyway.  I sold them for some money to get my car out of the shop.I have been thinking of getting custom seat covers over my vibrating ones to make the cars interior flow better.  I have also taken the rims off my car.  I am unsure weather or not I am going to put them back on or not because one of the rims is severly damaged and on another one the tire went flat.  So I have to wait for some pocket change to get them fixed.  In the meantime, I have the stock rims on there.  I still have the stereo system and I am making plans to do a tweeter installation, along with some door speaker upgrades.  I have also been thinking about building a custom center console.  I don't think it's been done for the Rav yet  I will post picture upon completion.  Project "Tweeter" to begin Mar 9.
I traded this car in for my civic.  I just like to keep it here to remind me of what I use have.  I still have the rims and all of the other things that I added.  But I no longer have the ride.  My payments were just to high.  It was very, very nice while I had it.  Well enjoy it's history.
