"Newbie textcees listin here...."- DamoSport

I am DamoSport.
And i am a multiple time Titleholder.

I will bless you with a few tips, seeing as how all the "vets"
wont take the time to give back.

ive been rhyming for 10 years, been on rapmusic since 99
but i too lost alot until i found the correct way to package my material.

1. When your writing...be oringal, learn your patterns first.
Then when you do, try to incoperate the who what when where and why theory..

Who you are, Why your battling this kid, What your gonna do to him, where your gonna do it, and why you have to.

feel free to variate on this system, but what this does is make for a intresting read. More "emcopassing"

2. Find your own style...rehashes work good to make the past nostalgic, but they ultimatly run their couse. Find something that seprates you from everyone else

3. practice... ive done over 300 text verses since 99 and over 25 audio battles.

4. dont ever admit defeat...dont critique the other mans verse. But dont ever show weakness.

5. show initelligence, read use vocab learn meanings..

6. when your ready...mess with wordplay. Forced wordplay is bad.
But orignal takes on non corney topics will bang everytime.

7. WRITE TO BEATS...i cant stress this enough. cause if you can rap it on beat..theirs a pretty good chance it dont flow.

8.Start writing your own songs..battling is only once aspect of rhyming. Hit the open mic, and try to tackle topics.

9. DONT QUIT..its harder to stop where you left off then it is to contiusly develop.

10. See a goal, recoginse what you wanna do..and meet it. Dont quit cause some kid wasnt feelin what your doin or someone voted against you. Its a big world, and you cant please everyone.

Now...I hope i could help.

Good luck,

Its a long Road.
