I learned over the years of writting poetry that some people just don't appreciate the written truths about life, love, joy, happiness, evil, jealousy, hypocrisy, or politics. I will say this and leave it at this: If you are here just to judge another poetry website with critical comments on how things are spelled wrong or how this doesn't happen to you or your friends, just remember that you have different experiences than anyone else; just because you have never felt this way or had these things happen to you doesn't mean that these things don't happen, so don't judge this poetry on what other's say or what your experiences are, just read and be merry. I do know that was a run-on sentence. It helped me get my point across.
I'm trying to put more than just my poetry on here so if you have any you wouldn't mind sharing with the rest of the people that visit my site (which aren't very many) and this page please e-mail me and be sure to have some sort of signature on it and an e-mail address if you want people to e-mail you about your poetry. I don't care if you use your screen name or your real first name, just so long as you can say it's yours.
So far here are the poets posted on my site:
Your Own Little Dream World By: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly Look at me Did you ever notice? Could you ever see? no You are one in Your Own Little Dream World You notice nothing else than that in there with you Your friends are there Your family Is there room for me? I'd like to be your friend But you never noticed me Look at me Did you ever see me before? Could you ever notice me? no You are off to yourself Sticking to that which you know, Which you confide in. You notice whoever you allow into Your Own Little Dream World But you only allow those who know you. Could you let me in? You'll never notice I want to know you Look at yourself Did you ever notice your eyes glow? Did anyone ever tell you they shine like emeralds? no You say sweet things to others But ou don't give them much chance to reply Somhow I still adore you from a distance Even though I know you Even though I'm your friend Was I ready to enter yur life? I guess I'll let you live without me in Your Own Little Dream World
Don't Change by: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly I wish I could remember the last time you smiled. I haven't seen you in so long. Have you changed at all? When you left I thought yes, this is the same guy I fell in love with so long ago. Did you change? I don't think so Will you change? If you do it will be for better, I hope But if you change for worse, I will accept the new you. But I could never love you the same way. On the other hand Don't change ever I love you as you are And will forever be.
The Voices By: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly Welcome to my corner of the institution. I will show you around for a small price. There's this jacket, you see, with straps on it, It's my favorite jacket and they won't let me have it. Will you get it for me please. And then I'll show you around. I promise to be good Don't you fret. You can't survive the past, present, or future. There, over there, a nice sharp blade. use it, Use It, USe It, USE IT USE IT USE IT! I can't. Thak you for my jacket, Could you help me put it on? The Blade, NO! Right this way. I hate not having control. I hate you. You never leave me, I can't do anything without you. Leave now, and never come back.
Two Strangers By: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly Two men stood together alone As far apart as they could Each refusing to look at the other Each hating the likes of the other. The two never met before in their lives Giving neither a reason to hate Yet because the other wore different clothes Each refuse to deal with as they chose. The day was scorching and burning their skin So the men took off their shirts Once that was done they forgot about clothes And they became real close. The two have been together for decades Both remembering the day They each forgot to look at shirts But instead at how much it used to hurt.

My True Love's Angel By: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly I have known no one as passionate As the Angel I've come to love; I've seen nothing quite as sweet As you, my morning dove. With you I'm never lonely; With you I'm never afraid; Because when I'm with my Angel, All else simply fades. I love my Angel with all my being; He is my heart and soul; He completes my inner self, Makes my whole life whole. As I dive into his tenderness, All other feelings subside. The only thing left is passion, A love I do not hide. So now we'll fly on Angel's wings Into a sky so blue Because I know my love's and My love's so very true. If by chance this is the end Of tomorrow and today, And no more days will ever come We'll simply fly away So that we can be together Nothing much sweeter than this Than being alone with my love, And true love's tender kiss. So if and when it is goodbye And the whole world is through I'm glad to have known an Angel And spent some time with you. If somehow the world should end And tumble down to die, Then I'll know I'm safe in your arms And you and I will fly. If nothing else is meant to be, If nothing else will do, I'll be perfectly content Knowing an Angel just like you. If by chance your feeling sad And particularly downright blue, Just take heart and remember, Angel, I love you.

A Pun on Frost By: Panthernightelf AKA Yours Truly Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and there I stood betwixt them both staring them down before I would decide Which is the best road to travel by I stood there for an eternity and a half trying to make the best decision Trying not to mess up again so there I stood And still there I stood untill a voice called to me from the depths of my mind "Follow your heart" "Take the road less traveled by" it was then that I decided to take a road any road before more voices could come and try to convince me and before I went even more insane I don't know for sure which decision I made But the voices had ceased And that was all that mattered until Two roads diverged in a yellow wood And there I stood betwixt them both
