| Slipknot came from Des Moines, Iowa. A small hick town that was known for its corn and pig raising. Slipknot went through a few people before they got to where they are now in which thay call a "family unit". They released their first album Mate Feed Kill Repeat, in 1996 and they have been going uphill since. In 1997 the band recorded the album Slipknot with their new vocals Corey Taylor.
