| 11/22/2004 It's been two weeks since my last post here, hasn't it? Well, it's been good. This week there was nothing particularly remarkable to report. I got confirmation on the job at Movie Gallery; I didn't get it, even though the manager actually told me she did more than consider hiring me. Apparently the managers of the different Movie Galleries can't hire anyone who doesn't pass Movie Gallery's personality survey. And if you just happen to be a nice person, and you answer their questions honestly, they think you're just handing them the answers they're looking for and will therefore consider the answers dishonest. It takes 3/4 of an hour just to take the test (someone owes me that 45 minutes of my life back) :P. But I got the FBI background check results back, and I'm now cleared to work in the public school system (finally). Saturday the WATCH team made use of two chalets in Guntersville Lake State Park. This was a very educational trip. Things we learned at the state park: 1. the dangers of organic carrots (Savannah learned the hard way;) 2. Micheal Jackson has a thing for stabbing people in the nose *nods to Clay* 3.you can pack about four or five people in a 3x6 ft. space. 4. There's a reason why you put Alkaseltser in water first (oh, and they taste really bad). 5. The best way to eat peanut butter is off windows. We all had a great time (even the bama fans). Hey, WATCH team, I love you guys! --Robert |
