Before RD, the Imperialites and the world of Luminance
Luminance, long ago was a whole world under the control of one absolute ruler named Julius of Psyas. This particular ruler brought prosperity and peace to the world. The Imperialites inhabited Luminance and its continents, and Julius was becoming weak and old. After nearly 100 years of ruling the Imperialites, Julius' demise had came and his death marked the end of a revolutionary era. The world fell into a dark, civil war of bloodshed and battle after battle. The fight for the crown was a harsh time for the Imperialites and evil soon took over. Some, although, saw a vision of light and a way to end the corruption that had crippled the once great world. These people were the Order of Expenous. Nearly having one thousand followers, the hierarchy of the Order consisted of ten powerful monks. This council met on an isolated island, now called Militiant, to discuss how to cleanse the world of evil from Luminace. After years of planning and brainstorming, only one conclusion had raised�the total annihilation of civilization from Luminace. Leaving nothing but a barren world. In order to do this, the monks had decided to combine their magical power and send forth the god of destruction, Rartel and the goddess of life, Lumay. After summoning Rartel, the unmerciful god first refused to act on the request the monks had given for Rartel rather enjoyed watching the humans engage in war. The monks soon offered to sacrifice themselves for what would be called, the Ritual of Destruction. Lumay and Rartel both had to participate in the ritual in order to cleanse the world of life. Rartel then after some great convincing, agreed to participate in the ritual. Lumay, although a peaceful god, was forced by Rartel to do the ritual. Soon the two gods joined hands and summoned the beam of fire�Luminace entered a stage of hell. After one year of annihilation, the fire beam had ceased. The world of Luminace would be nearly forever barren�until one powerful godly-like monk, survived death's grasp. This monk was named Oherio. Shortly after finding himself alone on the world, he began to create plants and animals at his leisure. Water began flowing and even humans began to appear. Apparently, the two gods entered his body and began to create a new world. Mysterious intelligent beings walked about after humans. Luminace was given a fresh beginning, and a whole new world to explore�or exploit.
