South Australia's ILL TEMPERED are a heavy alt. rock / metal act consisting of Andrew Higgs (Guitar / Vocals), Leigh Vergou (Guitar), Tim Ey (Bass), and Tom Victory (Drums). In 2000, the band released their self financed 5 Track EP "Is this what you want?". Shortly after, Vocalist / Guitarist Andrew Higgs left for the UK for a year long working holiday. During this time, he got his band's track "Everybody's Girl" featured on the Psychophonic Recs compilation "Kill Your Management Vol. 3", and also sang for an Oxford based band which featured 2 ex-members of BLACK CANDY, before returning to Australia late 2001 to continue work with ILL TEMPERED.

ILL TEMPERED are the second "non UK" act to work with Psychophonic Records (The first being Dublin's DESOLATE).
