Ok, as rough as it is - here's the backstory (as spoiler-free as possible): The main character, Jarron, is a young man who's lived on Coruscant most of his life - everything about his life, before the age of 11 (around the end of the Clone Wars), is a mystery. Living in the slums of Coruscant, on his own, he enrolled himself in the Imperial Academy at a young age, and was schooled there, until he was about 18, when he joined the Imperial Service. A year later he went AWOL - but was captured near the outer-rim almost a year after that, after being traced from one job to the other. The Admiral, aboard the Star Destroyer, he was being held on, promised to give Jarron a full pardon, in exchage for investigating the communications break-down at a top secret genetic reserch facility, on Bhrakkus IV, that no one has returned from... ...Anyway, just before that place blew up, Jarron escaped on a small transport ship and was presumed dead, after the explosion... ...He continued to do some small mercenary and smuggling work - but due to his success in obtaining ancient, and rare Jedi and Sith artifacts (from places where others have failed) he became well-known to many private collectors on and off Coruscant, including Darth Vader... After returning to Coruscant, to complete a transaction with a client - Jarron moved, into a small apartment, near the slums - just large enough for himself, but small enough not to attract attention... ...Some of his work was done, on Coruscant, for some of the local kingpins, but his more recent work was done for a man named Raamus... ...Said to be a private collector of Jedi antiquities - Raamus, was very mysterious, and made Jarron suspicious of him - but something also told Jarron he could trust him... ...His suspicions were justified, however, after the last few "artifact recovery missions" that Jarron, made for Raamus - he had a gut-wrencing feeling that he was being watched... ...then on the last mission - The Empire arrived, on the planet, that Jarron was on - only minutes after he stepped out of the temple, he saw a Trooper Transport fly overhead. Jarron, took cover behind a distant group of rocks. Jarron, looking through a pair of electro-binoculars, could see Darth Vader stepping out of the temple, and smashing the stone wall, in anger, with his fist... ...however, it wasn't long before Darth Vader could sense what happened - and soon hundreds of troops would be on top of him... ...theeeeeen Jarron gets out of that mess somehow, and goes back to Coruscant, and collects his reward... That should just about bring us up to speed on The Rising Empire story...
