| I have absolutely no recollection of anything that could be said good...except for that one thing in chorus class..I hit the one note that no one else could..^.^...and they were all like...wow...and it was cool. and the one absolutely worst thing I can think of, is whilst changing busses (buses?) after school one day, I witnessed my BOYFRIEND asking some girl to marry him. ;_; I wanted to DIE. It was in front of a whole crowd, so you can imagine the rumors that spread after that. Slut. Big pimp daddies little cling on. I never got over that.Oh! oh oh oh. another thing. I derno if this counts as ...well..maybe it does. I was going out with this guy, I was totally, head over heels, insanely in love with him, and by all appearances, he was with me too. One night, and, for weeks before, it was, ''I love you, whenever I'm with you, I feel like I could fly. Being apart from you is like a slow death.'' and the very next day, his exact words were, ''I don't feel the same way about you anymore. My love belongs to another.'' CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?! ;_; Oh!! oh ohohohohoh!!!! and and and after that! there was another guy! We were, ''In love'' too. I went away with my family for summer vacation, and when I came back, he was acting a little wierd. It turns out, he had being seeing FOUR!! FOUR other people while I was gone. | My first job EVER, would be stock-person, at CVS-pharmacy drug store place type thing. Joy. Stocking shelves, janitorial services, making sure all the shelves are neat after the little kiddies come in and fuck 'em up. Stocking the make-up Isle. Iasle? Ialse? How do you spell that word? o_O Isn't there an A in there somewhere? Oh well. Vacuming. Cleaning the parking lot. Bagging groceries. Gathering Buggies. Cleaning the break room. When does it end?!?! ;_; I quit after a week before I had a nervous breakdown. Second Job, Manual Laborer at a family run business where they poured concrete and sold statues, birdbaths, picnic benches and tables, stepping stones, so forth and such. HEEEEEAVY labor involved there, but the pay was good. I still work there. ^.^ You get to take a break whenever you feel you need one, as long as you don't take to many, because the owners are little old grey-haired people who are very nice and let you do what you want to, as long as you get the work done and do your share of the work. | I was a total X-Men freak from the day I saw the X-men comics online, and after logan seduced Jean, (I still love that little convo that passed between him and her when they were recruiting him..''Don't make me hurt you, you've had a bad enough day, big man.'' ...''What're you gonna do, Smack me with yer barbie purse? Hit me with yer high heel?'' XD) So when I was channel surfing one day and happened to flip by a channel with my fave comic book characters, (Ie, Kurt and Logan) I was INSTANTLY magnetized. =D And I further fell in love with Kurt and Logan, for their cartoon-ized versions are even better looking. And I proceeded to fall in love with Pietro and Lance as well. Pietro wasn't so nice in the comic book. >.o Excpet in the last few pages when he stopped magneto. But Anywho. | Work experience... Can't remember places I tried for, but got Harvey's (fast food restaraunt) shipped from place to place, stayed for 5 years, made supervisor in 3. Zeller's. Canada's WalMart. We have 4 department stores around here. 2 are for millionaires, I swear, and I have a thing against Zeller's now, after working in the restaraunt kitchen for a year and a half. Subway. Easiest job in the world, I swear. No stress, even when the lunch line goes out the door. AT&T Wireless. Specifically Convergys, who works for AT&T. I know cell phones. Not too bad. But I can't stand dealers. They lie like crazy to the customers. Hint. If you get a cell phone, call customer care right away to find out the REAL story before you get a 1000$ bill on a 50$ plan. | First of all, let us establish one thing from the outset: R is *not* your pet! She is lord of my want, goddess of all my earthly desires, my muse and inspiration! MMMMMMIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, now that the jealous bit is out of the way, let's get down to some serious reviewing. ;-} Your story is well organized, coherently put together, and fluidly written. Unlike so many authors who do not understand the 'show, don't tell' techinique and therefore fall flat, your writing style and vocabulary make the images dance before the mind's eye, even for those who have only seen the series but rarely. You also have a flair for taking the characters and adding much more depth than their original two-dimensional framework allows, a talent much to be desired in a fanfiction writer and the one I most admire. It takes a certain level of quality to create the layers of subtlty in a cartoon/anime which appeals to more than one age group, but it takes a skilled writer to then take those layers and grant them true realism. Such has been said of my own work, and such I say of yours as well. To answer your question to R, I have not published on a fanfiction site in six years, and then it was only one and a half stories. Both were Sailor Moon fics, and both were given high praise from several individuals. However, while I do have a few other stories in my files, I have not considered publishing fanfiction for some time. If you would like a sample of my own writing, please let me know and I will send you one of my fics. I'm not even certain that the Sailor Moon sites which hosted my fics are even up anymore. Back to your story: I laughed, I cried... though mostly from laughing too hard. Choice little phrases such as: 'nifty new PietroOrnament', 'seismically inclined lover', and 'you DO want to ravish the hot, sexy, defenseless invalid' are absolutely priceless. It's difficult to make the truly mean nasty sick plot points hit home if you can't get your audience laughing first, and vice versa. An excellent job of keeping a pace your readers can live with. Also, your sex scenes are tasteful, tactful, and smoothly written. Too many writers start throwing crude language around like a dog shaking off fresh mud the moment they delve into a sex scene, whether the moment requires it for artistic purposes or not. From a writer of your obvious talent, I would have been extremely disappointed to find such unnecessarily vile language in your very tender sex scenes. Blush if you like, but my computer screen was fogging up as I read them. Well done! Your incorporation of songs and dialect are also impressive. Songfics are tough to manage without sounding stupid, and dialect is difficult for any writer because you're trying to script a non-standard set of phonetics. Again, your talent shines through. One thing I found disconcerting was the few author's notes sprinkled in the text. Perhaps you could find a way to reference them like footnotes with a small identifying symbol and write them at the bottom of the chapter? They interrupt the flow of your work, even when the explanation is necessary, and such brilliant and liquid flow shouldn't be disturbed. The length of your author's notes, both pre- and post- script, don't really bother me all that much. My author's notes have been entirely separate sections of the story on a few occasions. This is your forum; if people can't bring themselves to just zip past the author's notes if they don't wish to read them, that's their loss; you don't need fans like that. You already know R's point of view on this, so allow me to offer mine: your portrayal of Lance during the last few chapters is directly on target. More than once have I felt the same pangs of helplessness, re-directed rage, righteous vengefulness, and unconditional, if sometimes unrequited, love during my beloved R's post-traumatic ordeal. The frustration with being deprived of those tender emotions, sweet affections, and smoldering attentions does cause a serious amount of guilt, even as the frustration fuels the desire to inflict the most inhuman tortures man or woman can devise upon the cause of the trauma. You're doing beautifully; go with it and let your instincts guide your words; they have yet to steer you wrong. Being an X-man fan since the first FOX cartoon series back in the 90's, I've never quite understood the alleged mythology for Evo, despite my familiarity with the modus operandi of several key characters. However, I can say with certainty that your favoritism of the Brotherhood in this fic does not run afoul of my previous exposure to the X-men universe. Rather, your style of writing is a refreshing change from so much of the mundanity and outright deplorable hackism that can be found in this new vein of literature. | You know, I come into work, expecting nothing but to be able to survive the day (night) without putting my foot up my boss' behind, and then I click on to the latest Psycho B chappie, and all is sweetness and light once more. yay! We got Pie and Lancie cuddling, and Oreos! And we've got Todd, um, doing something that in some cultures would constitute a sacrificial cleansing ceremony. Only Toddles calls it cooking. And he calls Lance and Pie bitches XD And we got Fred, um, eating! Yay! I laughed so hard at Pie's "Summers can suck me" comment because, um, that's, like, my biggest fear o.O But no, yes! The chapter made me smile. And at work. I never smile in this godforsaken place, unless I'm reading a good fic. And, well, this is goodfic personified. In recent days, I've wavered on my stance on Lance -- I used to ignore him, then I liked him, then I REALLY liked him (enough to start on a Pietrance), then I discovered Evan and started liking Lance less and less. | Let me preface this by saying that plagiarist can bite my ass. Dammit. I understand reading a fic, liking it and wanting to emulate that writer or writing, but god -- cutting and pasting? Pathetic. And scary, too. I'm sorry you've been victimized, my Psychotic One. Hopefully this person will read your AN and cut it the f--k out. I mean really. Second: I loved this chapter, but it bumed me out majorly. First because I read the news on Comics Continuum about the season finale (note: If you don't want ANY spoilers about season finale, STOP reading now!, Er, except you Psycho B. o.O.) Ahem, anyway, seems one of the X-Squad's gonna leave, and I fear it will be the spiked one. Why? Cause nobody loves him but ME (and maybe three people out there somewhere). And this chap sort of reinforced that Evan-gets-no-love vibe I get. I was with him when he asked Quickie "Why not me?" Yeah, Speed? Why ~not~ Evan? (Note: I do not condone the racial slur Ev used.) And that's a question I'd love to ask all the fans: Why not Evan? Is it the bleach job? The skateboard? The dumb jokes? What? Why do people hate him so much? Why? I seriously just started crying. Yeah,it's just a cartoon, but every fandom I get into, I like the unpopular character, and it's tough to take sometimes. I even get mails bashing my stories because I have the nerve to have Evan in them. But, er, that's of no consequence. And then I came out of my little whacked-out phase to read the rest of the chap (Damn, dont ever scorn a guy who can make bones shoot out of his body) and it was great. Lance on the rampage, Ev unconscious, Scott and his generally clueless self, all lovely. I also liked the domesticity you show in the beginning with Lance and Pie shopping for appliances :D They really are a cute couple, and I love Lantro. There's just something about it that makes sense. All right. I've ranted enough. PB, I loe the chapter. Please do not take the above as a flame of the writing or of the events. Evan was a little more violent than I've ever seen him anywhere (except Mindbender, I guess), but considering the circumstances you set up, it works. | Sure, I'm a professional. A professional *what*, I'm not sure . . . Hey, I like dialogue. Especially good dialogue, and this was nice, as was Kelly (hee! I love when dude tries to get all bad-ass. Nice :D The fix-it men were, er o.O scary as hell. I truly fear plumbers' crack. I truly did, and for some reason, when dude called Pie "chile," I totally got flashbacks to summers at my grandmom's. I half-expected dude to break out a piece of sweet-potato pie, like my gram used to. But . . . er, yes. Sweet loveliness with the piano (what can't our boy do, indeed. | *happy sigh* You know, a good dialogue-filled chapter is a nice thing, in my mind, cause it means that the author can effectively simulate the character's reactions to situations that aren't presented in the show. In other words, YOU ROCK! Haha. Sorry I missed "Hex Factor," quit rubbing it in! Everyone I've talked to said it was awesome so I'm all like, "Arrrghh, why did I not watch it?" And as for stupid little errors that they make in Evo's animation, I dunno! | YEah, he was the guy who played Picard. I was asking my mother who that guy who Played Professor X was and She was like "...Picard." Which is why I ask my mother nothing! *Sigh* Okay, Wanda, and I say this humbly, was fucking fantastic! *Does a happy dance* Even if there was extreme dislike for Pie for something he so didn't have anything to do with, I'll let that slide. Because she was kickass. Though, this puts a cramp in a story I was writting. My Wanda isn't insane. *Shrugs* Now, my only realy problem was the hair. How long has she been dying it black anyway? | Pretty much... I was thrilled to see something new... I swear, re-runs drive me nuts!! and she did look damn sexy, perfect bitch-toy for rogue!! I change my hooters vote. (chuckle, just kidding) Today's chapter was very well written, fantastic ontinuation of the plot, intriguing pseudo-confrontation... however I really do believe that pietro needs some form of attitude adjustment... that boy is whining, spoiled, brattish and well in general most of the characteristics for which I dropped my last girlfriend!! But aren't they always so ungodly forgivable when they sleep? Favorite authors... that is a tough one in printed word: Alexander Dumas (Count of Monte Cristo Rocks!!!! Specially the unabridged version) Shakespeare... (I'mn sure you saw that one coming) The German set; Goethe, Rilke etc. Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front.. what can I say I read a lot. In Fic... well, there's my girl... but she hasn't put anything on anyone's site in over four years... evil grin (she's mine! I've been rather, off this week, what with the temporary death of my muse (but she's back now! Whoo!) and all. But this chap was really sweet. Nice slice of life, BH goodness, even if Fred is raring to eat them out of house and home (nice bit of restraint there he showed when the guys pulled up to the Golden Arches :D Love how you wrote Scooter Boy. Dude is always spoiling for a fight, but is all trying to be the pacifist-leader-pseudo-Xavier. What bs! And poor Pie and Lance . . . having the silly X-Idiots ruin their moment (nice segue, tie-in you have with Evan glaring at them and the events of "Creeping Up on You." I also noted a similar tie-in with Pietro and his "married" comment. You rule like Ja Rule! Uh . . . no.) And the house is finally gonna stop looking like s--t. Coolies! Buttt, a pissed Mystique looms on the horizon (maybe not quite as snarky as in HeX Factor, but close.) So the guys better enjoy that money, and the use of their privates, while they still have 'em, cause Mystique don't play. Great chap. More pwease :D I looooved today's eppie. Little Pie-pie was so cute (I've gotta rewatch the ep, but is it me or was the little jacket/hoodie little Pie was wearing the same colors as his battle outfit?). He and Wanda have both been traumatized by the slug slime known as Magneto. I liked their little moment in the bathroom, too :D And yes, Pie knew all along that Mags was Big Daddy. I was confused a little about that. This sorta screws with my storyline as well, so I empathize with ya. The animation kicked in the ep, and yeah, Pie was acting EXTREMELY gay in the Kurt scene, at least in my opinion. And I noticed that little upside down split, too, when he hit the wall! Our boy is QUITE flexible. I plan on using that to my, and Evan's, advantage in future fics :D | |||

| I could maybe restrain myself from a Pietro in the red & black outfit, but a Lance in that outfit...let the drooling commence. I'm sorry but tell Todd it's tough luck i could read Lance & Pietro getting it on all day ;) The soap star is British, not glam but rumoured to make a lot of noise, and hopefully cast parties wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee. My nicest compliment hmm... at work this elderly man said i was bonnie. My best comment: this guy i work with was talking about me to me and said "there's this new girl started work she's got long blonde hair, she's smart and really beautiful" awwww he's so sweet. Nastiest comment: I used to get called mean names for having red hair (it isn't even red it's kinda goldish) also for not being that tall. But they can all go screw themselves. Rumour (this is gonna be long): Well *my* guy's best friend tried to kiss me, i completely backed off and told him where to go. The next day he couldn't even remember, and i wasn't gonna tell anyone i didn't want a fight. But the shit head told everyone i'd tried it on with him. No one believed me (which is weird coz i'm kinda shy) not one god damned person. Being stubborn i fell out with my *guy* and we didn't talk for ages. It hurt alot more than it sounds!![Aggghhh emotional scars!!!!lol] 8.The most vicious rumor? None, so far, people get chucked out of our school for spreading or starting romours so it doesn't happen much 9. Hey I just thought of something. You should continue this fic with the boys using up most of the money and selling most of Mysti's excess things, and Pie and Lance[I like Dominic better] contiune as a couple and the last thing in the fic should be Mystique walking in the house and yelling at them. You know like in Home Alone 1 and 2 where the last phrase is a reprimand. I know bad idea, but it had to be said[I know it didn't but I'm waffling now so going to shut up now] 10. I'm reading this sci-fi fantasy fiction[say that 5 times quickly!], which says there are no chances, every one has an 'oversoul' who arranges things with other peoples 'oversoul's. | The thought of Lance chibis make sme smile (which is no small feat considering how badly this night has sucked :p) This has got to be the best chap yet. I could feel Lance's pain in wanting to help Pietro and at the same time chafing at his whining (I think most of us have been there, done that). This chap was so good, it was worth pissing off my boyfriend over (I was reading the part where Todd complains about Fred grazing thru the food, and my bf chose that time to turn and ask me a question, and I laughed in his face, thinking about Fred pawing thru Taco Bell Bags O.o;; He was not pleased with me. Oh well.) This was an incredible chapter! What was in the letter 'Ro found? How'd Rogue help them out? (Her relationship with the BH boys is so cute :D) Pietro on drugs was SERIOUSLY scary and hilarious (An aside: That boy's metabolism is so fast that he could prolly eat TWO dozen tacos without a problem. :( Not fair.) I love that you're having our boy reveal parts of his life bit by bit. Pietro as dancer -- I could see that. He's tallish and has those long graceful limbs, slender neck, and he's so delicate and pretty and stuff :D I wonder what Lancey's gonna do as regards his newfound knowledge -- Freddy and Toddles don't know anything about Mags or Wanda, right? | Waaaaahhhhoooooo! Get back from Vacay and I get more coolness from Psycho B! Lance and Pietro having wild monkey love! Todd and Fred scarred for life (I love the line. "This is whack, yo." Hmmm, as for how I got into Evo, well, I saw the hideous "Spykecam" (And I'm a huge Evan fan, but Spykecam sucked ) and I came in on the part where Todd is showing off for Ev, and as soon as I heard him say "the Toad's got it all, yo." I was intrigued, but not hooked. But my interest was piqued enuf to look up some Evo fanfiction, and I got really into Pietro/Lance stuff, though I didn't know who the heck either of them were. So I went to Marvel's Evo website, saw our speedster and was hooked. I wanted to write Pietrance, but then I saw Speed and Spyke and converted to Evietro. So that's my story. Oh, and I have the enhanced stats package. If you can spare the bread, try it for a month and see if u like it. I got it for three months and I'm gonna re-up. You get to upload pictures and an enchanced search function and an ff.net email (I don't use any of the last two functions) but what I love is that it records the hit count for your chapters. It makes me feel better to see that 500 people read a thing even though only 5 reviewed :( Also, you can put your fave authors on author alert and be the first to know when they update. There's also review alert, so you get notified when you have new reivews and the notices also contain the reviews you get. So, for instance, if you had the enhanced sericves, you'd get a message in your inbox saying you have a new reivew. When you open the email, it'll say who reviewed and what the review said. | Well i first found out about X-men evo' when i woke up early one saturday and couldn't go back to sleep. I looked in the tv listings and saw that X-Men was on. I was a fan of the old X-Men when i was younger and i just had to watch it, i've been hooked ever since. | Okay a few thing to say after reading both latter 'The wait is over' chapters 1. I think you should keep the replys to reviewers, it shows you actually care what people say and that you actually read them and it's not just a number to you [sorry ranting but I hate people who demand a completly off number of reviews for story's that arent even that good, as if we should bow to them, there is plenty of other fic's on the net] 2. Although I would have written that Todd should have screamed when he first saw them naked but that's just me, I think I like your way better now. 3. Fred gay????? Don't wanna think about it 4. I think if I saw a Lance lookalike on the street, I'd be after him at Quciksilver speed (Conversely, Pietro's looks wouldn't translate well in RL, methinks. I will now join my voice to the chorus of people chanting "more, more, more..." yay! What happened to Todd and Freddie? They're still in the hallway! :) Hey, I got a neat observation for ya. You know how in the Cauldron episode where all the guys were fighting to get to Asteroid M? And Kitty phased throgh Freddie and that made her pass out? And then in the Shadowed Past episode with the Mistique is Kurt's mom thing, Kitty phased through Freddie and knocked the poor guy into a cement mixer! Continuity people! Forgive me, I like to babble on. Hey, I LIKE the title to this chapter. It made me chuckle, it just fits!
