Jake, and his snake pokemon(and his Charizard). Jake, although not yet showcased in the comics, is a main character. Whilst Ace, Erin and Keith all stayed in Kanto, Jake, his twin brother Luke, and Pinkie travelled to Hoenn to explore new lands. That's where Jake met his new Seviper.
Jake's Pokemon: Arbok(starter(evolved from Ekans),
Steelix(evolved from Onix with a metal coat attached when traded with Luke's Gravler)(Onix was obtained in a trade where Jake swapped Erin's bellsprout for him...),
Charizard(caught on Clone island(yup it's the clone Charizard from the 1st Pokemon movie)
Gyrados(evolved from Magikarp)
Seviper(caught in Hoenn)
Jake favours serpent and lizard type Pokemon, and although he has more in his box, he never uses them, sticking to his favourites at all times.
