When choosing to learn and develop with the help of books, it is important to read from a wide variety of authors to become familiar with different points of view. Then you can take what you feel comfortable with, and what your spirit tells you is truth, and leave the rest behind. One of the biggest complaints is that most "New Age" or books on psychic ability are so dry and clinical. This can be due to the fact that they are being edited for public consumption. Some of the world just isn't ready to receive some of the reality of psychic life. So this is another good reason why you should read from multiple authors, so your better able to train yourself to read between the lines of what the author and the editors are trying to get across.
