| On finding a good psychic |
| How do I find a good psychic? Just like you would find a good Doctor, Dentist, or other service...ask around. Ask friends and relatives if they use a psychic or can recommend one. That's a good place to start. How much is a good price for a reading? Charges can vary from psychic to psychic, but one thing should remain constant. The price should be firm up front, and it should be based on number of minutes a reading will be. If you get into a reading, and the psychic begins to ask for more money, that should send up a red flag. The lady I went to told me she could bring my husband back, but it would cost me a lot of money, can she do it? No psychic no matter how accurate they are can change the free will of another person. No one can make a loved one or husband come back to you if they don't want to come back. And the fact they are asking for a huge amount of money is a big clue that it's a scam. I bought a "love" candle from my psychic that cost $50.00. He said he'd blessed it and that it would bring me my soul mate, will it? Don't ever buy a candle or other object from a psychic for a crazy amount of money, even if they said they blessed it. Your better off buying your own candle for $1.50 and saying your own prayer over it. It will just as useful. Psychics don't have a direct line to God/dess, we all do My sisters psychic told her that she was cursed. The psychic said she could get rid of the curse but it would cost my sister alot of money. Is this possible or is this just another scam? Again, here is an example of a scam. Reputable psychics will not claim to be able to work or abolish curses. If one does, run as fast as you can the other way. What about some of these 1-800 numbers that claim to give free readings? Be careful when you hear the word "FREE". This is often just a way to get you hooked on the line. Then they will talk around in cirlces for 20 minutes not telling you anything of any importance but actually charging your credit card past the "first 10 free minutes". A reputable psychic will not begin charging until the actual reading begins. I called for a reading to a psychic my friend referred me to, but she said she wasn't able to pick up anything. She didn't charge me, but is this normal? This can be embarassing for any psychic, but most all of us have experienced it at least once. It's good that she didn't take your money. That is a sign of a reputable psychic. We all have those times when we have no connection to our client. In this situation, it's best to return any money paid, and end the session. You can try again on another day if you like since you know she's honest enough to not take your money for no service rendered and maybe you can make a connection at another time.
