| Do you ever notice how after a bad day you just want to come home and take a bath or a shower? As if by washing, we can cleans away the negative energy from the day. Our homes and properties need the same thing when we first move into them or if there has been fighting or negativity there. I enjoy the process of cleansing my home and property and feel renewed when I'm finished. The process is simple, and most likely you have the ingredients you'll need right in your kitchen. Ingredients: Charged water (recipe to fallow) Salt 1 White Candle Recipe for charged water: This may sound funny, I know. But there is actually a recipe for charged water. You can charge water a couple of ways. You can put it out in direct sunlight for about 3 hours and let the cleansing rays of our sun infuse it with loving, grounding energy. Moonlight is also suitable for different cleansings. Moonlit charged water is good for areas you want to bring peace and relaxation to. I have used moonlit charged water in my bedroom for it's calming results. If you are limited for time, or don't have sunlight or moonlight due to overcast conditions, you can also use the rainbow method. This is simply placing your hands over the container of water you want to charge, and visualising rainbows flowing down through the top of your head, and out your hands. Visualise these rainbows infusing the water with it's energy and cleansing away any excess, uneeded energy. That's it....using one of these methods, your water is charged. The cleansing or blessing: Draw an unbroken line of salt around the entire edge of your property. While you are spreading this salt, imagine that as you spread it, a white bubble of light is surrounding your property and your home. Salt is used in almost every religion in ceremonies of purification. Next, pour a small amount of charged water in all 4 corners of your property. And as you pour this water, ask that The Divine Power to purify this area, and absorb all negativity. Next pour charged water across all the thresholds and openings to your home, doors and windows, and also sprinkle with salt. Now go into your home, and light your white candle. Go from each room one by one, including hallways and bathrooms, stopping in each. While you stand in the center of each room, say this prayer: Mother/Father God/dess, please absorb the negativity in this room into the White Light of the Blessed Spirit, and fill this space with Your love and Blessing.
