1 - 3: initial
4 - 7: heal
8 - 10: life
11 - 12: harm
13 - 14: limit
15 - 16: view
17 - 18: wonder
19 - 20: can use death

Hmm converting for the New system..

Ok so..

I figure for the most part, using the gates is gonna require Endurance and Taijutsu techniques in order achieve what you need. Thats why I think there needs to be 2 requirements for every Gate.

Tai/End - Gate
39/35 - initial
45/42 - heal
55/55 - life (Mod = 110)
65/65 - harm (Mod = 130)
75/75 - limit (Mod = 150)
85/85 - view (Mod = 170)
95/95 - wonder (Mod = 190)
105/105 - death (Mod = 210)

Also Endurance/Strength/Speed/Tai would have an effect of the after effects of said Jutsu. High STR/SPD/TAI/END would result in "mildler" effects while barely being able to use this, would result in worse stats.

I think there should be some sort of Formula possibly used for the Gates and how much Stamina is required, and how much is used and gone.

I think for gates Life+ Is when Permanent effects should probably come into effect.

I figured there could be some table set at:

PSL - Permanent Stamina Lost
PRL - Permanent Strength Lost
PEL - Permanent Endurance Lost
PPL - Permanent Speed Lost

T - Total = Endurance+Strength+Speed

For other purposes.. We'll use the total of the Require Stats -vs- ( Endurance+Strength+Speed)

So, If I can barely use the fourth the total would be: 55+55=110 (note these are the require end+tai)

That would go against my ( Endurance+Strength+Speed ) We'll say my speed and strength and Endurace are 55 each.. so (55+55+55) so 165

so 165-110 = 55

Now to figure out the the points lost would be that each gate has a set amount of points that you would use divide by 4 to take away from stamina/endurance/strength/speed. As per the cost of using/opening a gate.

3rd Gate - 80 (would take away -20 from each stat)
4th Gate - 120 (would take away -30 from each stat)
5th Gate - 200 (would take away -50 from each stat)
6th Gate - 280 (would take away -70 from each stat)
7th Gate - 360 (would take away -90 from each stat)
8th Gate - 400 (would take away -100 from each stat)

So I wanted to use and open the third gate. And the number I got was 55 so in order to figure out the final cost I would subtract 80-55 = 25. so I would then 25/4 = 7 (round up) So I would subtract 7 from all of the stats listed in order to use the third gate.


PSL - Permanent Stamina Lost = 7
PRL - Permanent Strength Lost = 7
PEL - Permanent Endurance Lost = 7
PPL - Permanent Speed Lost = 7

BIG NOTE: These are compounded on top of each other, you can't just use the sixth gate and apply the penalities for that, you have to use each gate, and then apply every level penalty. So lets say these same stats wish to use the fourth gate. We'll raise the endurance to meet the requirements, so The stats are at (70+70+75) so 215

The modifier for the Fourth gate is 130 so: 215-130 = 85

Ok, not bad so let's figure out what the total loss was originally: 120

120 - 85 = 35

so 35/4 (Rounded up = 9 )

So after using the fourth gate, after the fight My stat loss would be at

PSL - Permanent Stamina Lost = 16 (7+9)
PRL - Permanent Strength Lost = 16 (7+9)
PEL - Permanent Endurance Lost = 16 (7+9)
PPL - Permanent Speed Lost = 16 (7+9)

Not that hard? Before you rip it apart =p Ask me to walk you through it =p.

Stamina Loss Adendum:

Stamina has a small multiplier up to three (rounded down)

So levels 3 - 4 have a multiplier of 1.5
Levels 5-6 have a multiplier of 2.0
level 7-8 have a multiplier of 3.0

So If I was going to find out actual stamina lost permanantly it would be 16*1.5 = 24 Stamina Permanantly lost.

Effect: +10 To Speed and Strength -10 Stealth (2x Normal Stamina Cost)

Heal Gate: Second Gate
Description:This gate tears at the seals of pain receptiveness (thus the nerves) within the body.
Effect: +10 Endurance. Heals all minor cuts and brusises. (2x Normal Stamina Cost)

Requirements:55/55 (Taijutsu/Endurance)
Life Gate: Third Gate
Description:This gate tears at the seals of fatigue receptiveness, allowing you to ignore fatigue on the body.
Effect: +15 Endurance and Strength +10 Speed - 10 Stealth (2x Normal Stamina Cost)

Requirements:65/65 (Taijutsu/Endurance)
Harm Gate: Fourth Gate
Description:This gate tears at the seals of limited inner power, allowing the full release of physical power.
Effect: +15 Endurance and Strength -10 Stealth

Requirements:75/75 (Taijutsu/Endurance)
Limit Gate: Fifth Gate
Description:This gate breaks the fullest extents of the inner power broken by the Harm Gate, causing maximum muscular output.
Effect: +15 Speed and Strength -10 Stealth

S-rank
Requirements:85/85 (Taijutsu/Endurance)
View Gate: Sixth Gate
Description: This gate tears at the boundaries of physical perception.
Effect: +20 Detection and Speed -15 Stealth (Ninjutsu and Genjutsu Can't be used)

Wonder Gate: Seventh Gate
Description:This gate is also viewed sometimes as being partially broken with stress, as it awakens the body's most dormant prowess.

Ok This is what I got. I figure it's pretty even, and when used with the Penalty system, it really makes a big difference. So it's got the cost and penalties after hand, and even some penalties during.
