And, ladies and germs, here's me! But more importantly, here's my Fender Malibu. Ain't he pretty!
Get Back! Get Back! Get back to where you once belong!
Pontiac Firebird

Pit Crew: Mike Montgomery
Wayne Montgomery
Dick K.(name is too hard to spell)
Driven by Tim Ketlinski
Bought and built by Mike Montgomery (my dad!). This beast has been clocked at going a quarter mile in 7.29 seconds! My dad has had a long career in race cars starting with the Camero in the 1970's in which he sold and acquired the nicest black beauty, a 1956 Corvette. Oh yes, he dragged that wonder around the western USA, at Firebird in Boise and at classic roadster shows. When I was really young I knew him as the brains behind the great number 66 (it was bright pink) circle track car driven by Matt Klaas. Ah those sultry summer nights waiting for the race to get over and playing in the dirt by the pit area wondering if they were on the 450th lap or the 499th. I'm sure my mom really enjoyed sitting with a bunch of whiney kids all evening long! Good job mom!
Back when I was in Junior High or High school, my dad attempted to return to ol' reliable Firebird Raceway with his Black Beauty. Two days and many runs, he was on his second to last run for his lisence when the Corvette decided it couldn't do it anymore. With a Rocker injured, he retired her for many many years.
Now he is back with a vengence. His Pontiac Firebird is one hot pepper! We were sad to see the Corvette sold but we are all happy to see him in his element once again. Now if we could just teach Tim that red means DON'T PUSH ON THE GAS!  I do have to say this though. I am very proud of my dad. He always seems to know what he's doing when it comes to cars!
Update! The Pontiac is now a beautiful burnt red colour. I (to the chagrin of my father) have named it the Flash after the comic book character. If my dad enjoyed such things as decals and mascots, I would get him a decal, but no.
LINKS ROUND TWO:
These would be my favourite websites that don't have to do with the Beatles. Gasp, shock, horror. The pictures will guide you to historical and teevee show websites. Get a drink and some popcorn and sit back to relax.
One of my fav. piccy's of John Lennon from the film "Help!" He sure loves his guitar. And if I knew what I was looking at, I could guess he's holding a Gibson. Click on the Legend to get to another Legend. Gibson.com
And now for something completely different:
Hold on a minute! But in German: Ein Minuten Bitte. Ringo with a guitar?! Although it is not the same type as mine, you can still get to Fender.com by clicking on the  instrument holding Ringo's sticks hostage.. Just don't tell me the new stuff that they have, otherwise, I'll want to buy it!
New counter! I got bored. This page established June 2001. etc etc etc.
