According to some, Paul McCartney died in a horrible car wreck. This rare album depicts that theory where the yellow car is heading right towards the Paul-looking character lounging in our foreground. (of course, since the character IS indeed in the foreground, making the car in the background, no accidents really occurred in the making of this album cover!)

Even as early as 1965, the nasty rumour was rearing its ugly head. Notice how the Beatles seem to be looking over a grave grimly. In green no less! And, the fact that there is a "soul" involved whether it be rubber or not!

"I Am the Eggman, They are the Eggmen, I am the Walrus! Goo-goo-ga-joob!" What the feck did that mean anyway? Oh well, it's a groovy song. On the cover of MMT, the one dressed as a parrot is wearing John Lennon glasses, so little Nicola was right! "No you're not!" (the walrus). "I Am the Walrus" plays a better part in this mystery with the next picture. Another clue was that apparently if you hung by your toes upsidedown while staring at the album cover in the mirror, the stars in "Beatles" numbered out a phone number to where one would find out what happened to Paul. Please, don't try this at home, kids!

Groovy man! Very groovy! You have to look closely, but on Ringo's bass drum there are the words "Love The Beatles". There is a squiggly thing underneath the "O" in Love that looks suspiciously like a "3" Does this mean that there are only THREE Beatles left in 1967??!! With a magnifying glass, one can see Paul's shoes (for he is barefoot here) on the ground beside the drums. A splash of red can be seen on these shoes! Bloody shoes! Ack!
Up next....Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is lonely for Paul and something about Angels at Abbey Road.
