My baby degus. They're small little creatures that you would think are rodents, but aren't classified as such. I have 2 and they are completely adorable. |

Some people call degus Chilean squirrels, but they're not. They live in the Andes in Chile, in the wild.

Once a week I give them a bath, but now with water. They take something called a dust bath. I put some dust/sand into a dish and take them out of their cage and then they spin and twist and frollick in the sand. It's the cutest thing. |
