When the County presented us with an inch-thick document of things "needing done" to bring the old ranch house "up to code" (when nobody but the cows had lived there for 15 years!!), Bobby decided instead to donate it to the CDF for fire practice. They fixed it up so it would burn better, for more realistic drill -- patched the roof, covered all the windows with biscayne, furnished it from the Salvation Army, etc. One of the firemen said "Um-mmm, Bobby! This place lookin' so fine you ought to call the whole thing off, and move back in!" ~giggle~
