Education
Steve is a pitcher that has a variety of pitches to choose from when he comes in relief. Pflugh throws a curve ball, slider, and knuckle ball; he constantly keeps the opposition off balance. At the plate, Steve provides a solid option as a pinch hitter. Steve pitched as a freshman for the Blue Devils.
Pflugh was an accomplished high school player. He batted over .400 for four straight seasons of varsity play at Center. He was named first team all-section by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He also competed at the Beast of the East for two summers.
Pflugh has recently been nominated to participate in the Top Gun Tournament in San Diego, California.
