| HIGH SCHOOL: Ambridge Area MAJOR: Education Mike is a versatile player that can downright hit the ball. He hits for average and has good speed. Meerdo knocked four hits in his first college start at third base. In high school, Meerdo was a very well respected player. He competed in a strong AAA conference where he was a three year letter winner. He was also on the Roaring Twenties team and named to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's All Section team. |
