Rick proved himself to be a tremendous college athlete last season in batting over .400 and in being named NJCAA All-American. He was also named to the All-Region team. As a senior in high school, his North Allegheny team was the Pennsylvania state champion and WPIAL runner up.
Rick is also a valuable leader whose excellence in practice is an example for all of his teammates.
