Coach Nichols brought a wealth of experience to Penn State Beaver upon his hire in 1999. His playing and coaching experience at Slippery Rock, and his work at Eastern Kentucky as a graduate assistant gave him the opportunity to learn valuable recruiting and teaching skills. These skills have allowed him to succeed as the skipper of the Blue Devils.
