Magnolia Splash Tutorial Page 1 Supplies needed PSP 8 Filters Unlimited DSB Flux Eyecandy 3 Unzip the ht-sintexultrablack3Dfont to your fonts folder. Unzip the other files to a folder of your choice for easy location. Time to begin! Open the anime tube that was included in the zip file, or a tube of your choice. Open the Magnolia tube or a flower tube of your choice. Minimize these as we will get to them later. Open a new image 600 x 600 with a white background. Open the flower tube, right click, copy, and paste as a new layer on your white background. Duplicate this highlighted layer and rename the original (middle layer) 'splash 1' and rename the duplicate layer 'flower 1' Go to your materials pallet and, using the eyedropper tool, select one of the colors from your flower for the foreground/stroke area on your color pallet. This will also be the color used for your name. Highlight the 'splash1' layer and with your mover tool, move the flower a little to the right and down a bit to make room for the effect. Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - Splash ( Intensity - 158 ) OK. Leave 'splash1' layer highlighted then: Effects - plugins - dsb flux - center mirror with these settings: mirrors - 7 rotation - 223 OK Effects - plugins - Eyecandy3 - glass with the default settings but using the color that you selected from your flower. OK Effects - 3D effects - dropshadow with these settings: V 5 H -5 opacity 50 blur 10 color black OK. Open the flower1 layer and resize to about 85% resize all layers UN-checked ( If you are using a different flower tube you may have to make some adjustments as mine is a large tube to begin with.) Effects - 3D effects - dropshadow - using the same settings as before. OK |
