1) With the highlight on the blank bottom layer Selections - select all - Selections - Modify - contract 20.

2) Flood fill with the pink2 pattern then Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel with the pillow preset. Select none.

3) Selections - select all. Selections - invert. ( you will get a message box that the selection needs to be de-floated click ok.

4) Flood fill with the cmv_gold gradient changing the angle to 90. Repeat the Inner bevel. select none. Layers - Merge - merge visible.

5) Open the corner image and copy - paste as a new layer on your working image. Add the drop shadow changing V & H to 0.

6) Duplicate - image - mirror. Duplicate - image - flip. Duplicate - image - mirror. Layers - Merge - merge visible.

Now would be a good time to take a break. Grab a cuppa or just stretch a bit.

Now we are going to make the lights run. Pay close attention or they will look like they are flashing willy nilly.

1) Duplicate your merged layer two times for a total of 3 layers. rename the bottom layer 'lights1'. Rename the middle layer 'lights2' and rename the top layer 'lights3'.

2)Load selection #10 - Adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 20 - contrast 32.

3) Move your highlight to the lights2 layer and adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 10 - contrast 16. ( do nothing to the lights1 layer. ) select none.

4) with the highlight still on lights2 layer, load selection #11 adjust brightness and contrast - brightness 20 - contrast 32.

5) put the highlight on the lights1 layer and adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 10 - contrast 16. ( do nothing to the lights3 layer ) select none.

6) With the highlight still on the lights1 layer - load selection #12 adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 20 - contrast 32.

7) Move the highlight to lights3 layer adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 10 - contrast 16. ( do nothing to lights2 layer ) selec none.

Now move on to page 3 for the text and animation!
