#1 "AKenn"

The top two posters of the week remained
steady as Kenn reclaims the top spot for the second consecutive week.
He has blocked the top spot from James, who has been at #2 for the
past three weeks. The rest of the chart saw drastic changes in
chart positions. After debuting on the charts at #9 and falling
off the chart the week after, Chris surges back to #3. Because
David, Thanh and Van have not posted at all this week, this has made
it easy for Jason B. to debut at #4 and Laura at #8. The UCI
orientation has impeded on posting rates from James, Ngoc and
especially David. Will the same happen to the #1 poster?
Find out next week.

Dominating the Xanga charts is not an easy task, in fact, it requires
moments of sheer boredom and patience to put our lives down in the
printed word for the entire world to see. After reading the
entries; there are primarily three responses: 1) wow, they have such
an interesting life, I wish I lived their summer instead of my own 2)
hmmm... I guess I have no right to complain, their summer is a bummer
3) why the hell was I not invited? This week, many of the
readers have seen the entries of Kenn, who has jumped up 7 spots to
the #1 spot, pushing Van, the previous Xanga #1 holder, down all the
way to #9. James and Chau held onto the #2 and #3 spots,
countering the debuts of both Ngoc and Vi, with impressive first week
rankings at #4 and #8 respectively. This week also saw the
downfall of Dan and Chris, both members falling off the charts.
Who will have enough staying power to remain on the charts and how
will a weekend camping trip and UCI orientation affect the charts?
Find out next week. |

What started out to be a "I am not
willing to pay $65 for grad night" turned into one of the most
memorable experience of my post high school life (thought short).
So we may have just lounged around the place for about an hour not
knowing what to do, but that was part of the magic that kept that
night going. First destination: Denny's where it appeared everyone was
dead and admiring May's chicken skillet. Second destination:
Karaoke where everyone left their attitude at the door and showed some
while singing. Everything from "I'm With You" and "The Boy Is
Mine" was sung. It was not that bad, especially after someone
came in from the next room and blew all of us, including my singing,
away. Then minimal drama appeared when we were short of the
karaoke payment. Then we went back to May's and stood around...
tried the movies, tried bowling, and finally ended up and Barnes and
Nobles after getting some drinks. My oh my... the things we talked
about there, the jokes we cracked. I don't think it will be in
anyone's distant memories when we talked about someone going to the
bathroom for a little while, or the moment we arrived to the street
called Gothard and laughed at the car wash because it said Quick Lube.
Definitely fun.

The weather wasn't at first on our side,
but once we got to the beach, it seemed like the sun came out to greet
and welcome us. Aside from that, we ate, and then practically ALL of us got wet in the cool water (that
would feel good just about now). There was definitely a
conspiracy to get me wet, as hand signals were used to indicate the
initiation of Project: Pummel James. Then a group of us went to
play volleyball, meeting an interesting bunch of kids who have no
qualms about throwing an object right at your head, while
another got caught up in the action of rolling die and landing on free
parking (can you guess who was involved?). Then things got mixed
up a bit when I suggested playing freeze tag... with a twist of
course! To unfreeze another player, you must crawl between their
legs, posing problems for those of us with larger exteriors.
Lastly, we ended the day at the beach with a rigorous game of Steal
the Bacon... it got nasty. I even threw sand in someone's eyes (sorry,
and it wasn't on purpose!). The night ended for some of us
there, but some of us extended it some more, telling stories about
stalking girlfriends and just stupid things you can do in a car. |

work: for each submission you make to the site, the contribution will
be rewarded with points. For example, submitting an article to this

*YUCKY* *YUCKY*
Today, I had the worse place for dinner, it was Soup Plantation. OMG!
That place should be called Fat Camp. The food there was sooo gross,
and get this... I paid freakin $10.75 for only soup and salad and a
small glass of soda. Shoot, I could have gotten more at Hometown
Buffet! To Top it all off, everything tasted gross... all food
was downsized in flavor to decrease fat... blah! This food was
soo bad if I was actually on a plantation like a slave, I'd rather
chew on my knee caps... URGH! Dont ever go eat there unless you
are on a hardcore diet... I mean I tried to make the best of it but
after sooo many let downs, I give it two thumbs down. What to
taste the worse restaurant by far... try it... want to make the most
of your money, stick to Hometown!

Years
ago when the Sequoia Club (aka Athletic Center with a bowling alley)
left a bad impression in my mouth, I could not fathom my high school
prom being held there. The bad aftertaste was simply left behind
by a stabbing at a Key Club event called Impulse (why I even bothered
going remains a mystery, at least the money to get in went to a good
cause).
has already been a full week since we last graduated and for some of
us, it is a blur since we thought high school would last forever.
The following pictures will help us instill our memories of graduation
a bit longer until it becomes a distant memory. Up to 30 pictures are

Nugget
Up The Butt

When
Tuesday rolls around, one of the first things we think about is that
chicken mcnuggets are only a buck. So just to fulfill a habit
that has stuck to me for about the past two weeks, I went to go get
some at the McDonalds on Chapman and Brookhurst. I was psyched
about loading up on some powdered meat but that quickly changed when I
met "Carly." For the people who have worked at McDonalds, I am
very happy that you were not as disgruntled as this person was.
My goodness. When I walked up to the open register and asked
politely for 6 chicken mcnuggets, I realized that I had not been
specific enough. But "Carly," made sure that I knew what mistake
I had made and waves her hand a la Eminem and said... 6 chicken
nuggets or 6 6 piece chicken nuggets. When I saw her hand waving
in my face, I did not know how to react. How can she be rude to
me, the customer and act like a gangster at the same time? I was
appalled. Then she asked me if I wanted any sauce... well duh!
She ended up giving me 1 sweet sour, 1 bbq, 2 honey mustard (the
reject sauce obviously) and a honey thing that was sooo left over from
breakfast. Anyone see what is wrong with this picture?
Obviously, I was supposed to get one sauce per box that I ordered but
nope, she had to give me 5. Bad service! I should have
gotten Van who was sitting down in her army bandana to get up and kick
some McButt. Some people need an attitude adjustment in this
world... and while they are getting it, they shouldn't be working.
Me and Van smiled when she left the building. Phew.

Man... what a movie... Alex and
Emma...remember Emma from Sense and Sensability...well...she seemed to have lost them both in this
movie!! (da-dump-CHI! [drums]). I admit, I've
seen a lot of bad things in my life... Inho's boxers, Sugars
(2 locations), Mr. Hand's stomach, and even a FRIGGIN Christian
religious movie (Omega Code)... but it stands that this movie, Alex
and Emma, has to be the WORST movie I have EVER SEEN! Worse than the
idea of landing an asteroid w/ a bunch of oil drillers to save the
world...worse than a guy locked in prison who takes Mr.. Hamamoto's
advice and starts PRAYING in the middle of a scene...worse than inho's boxers at the beach...yes, you can watch it, b/c
I
wanna say I told you so...but deng man save your $7.50,
give me 3 and we'll call it even! LoL. |

Road Trip

 The
following photos are all part of the spontaneous trip a group of
people took after the pointless graduation practice. If they didn't
have the food there, then I don't see any reason of coming at all
other than that and of course seeing some of your friends for the very
last time. The ride there and back consisted of rigorous games
of Slug Bug (is that a nerdy thing by the way?). Then the group
ran into the dilemma of finding parking, especially when we were low
on spare change for the parking meters.
From
there, several of us went down to feel the cold water (giving me that
cold sensation and urge to pee) and ultimately, Kenn and Chau got
soaking wet while the rest of us suffered only minor drenchage (if
that isn't a word, big deal, I'm out of high school. I can make up
words now!). Then after our time ran out, we ate those infamous
chicken nuggets from McDonalds... even after talking about how they
are made of powdered styff. When we scarfed them down, I don't think
anyone cared about that at all. Shoot, nugget special used to be
89 cents, now its 99 cents. What is this world coming to? Well
that is all about the short beach road trip.

Ive been sitting here at home bored outta my mind, and Ive been
itching to go skating; so I figured Id see if I could get a bunch of
people to go skating with me, you know, the more the merrier. Im
trying to do this thing for like Friday/Saturday night at the Fountain
Valley Skating Center over by the used-to-be Bullwinkles off of
Magnolia. Here is the address: 9105
Recreation Circle Fountain Valley CA 92708
The way skating
works is that they do it by session, so heres are the
schedules:
Friday night:
|
7:00 - 9:30 PM |
Open Skating......$6.00 |
|
9:00 - 11:30 PM |
Open Skating......$6.00 |
Saturday night:
|
7:00 - 9:30 PM |
Open Skating......$6.00 |
|
9:00 - 11:30 PM |
Open Skating......$6.00 |
Skate rentals are $2.00
These two nights seem optimal because
there are two sessions in a row, and if youre having a great time and
you want to stay for the second session, itll only cost $2.50 instead
of $6, or at least thats what they say on their website (http://www.fv-skate.com/schedule.html).
I know this probably doesnt interest
most of the people Im sending it to, but Im hoping I can get about a
dozen peeps to go (O, by the way, if you come, feel free to bring whom
ever else you want). Id appreciate a return email regarding which
night is best for you and whether or not you interested in going, that
way if anyone asks Ill be able to tell them how many people are
going. Also let me know if you have any questions; just remember that
this isnt a birthday party or anything, just a get together: you have
to pay to get in, yeah I want people to go, but Im not paying for
them lol (but please go!).

It
has been a long and arduous journey, but we have all made it... some
wanting to grasp onto the memories we shared while others would like
to forget some of the hardships we have endured. Through it all, I
know that my success in high school has been in large part due to you
guys. You guys have been the fuel that kept me going everyday, the
same fuel that made me want to do well in school and succeed.
And now that it is all over, its up to me to motivate myself. I
wish the best of luck to all of you guys and hope that you continue to
strive for your own aspirations. I hope that you will update me
on your life in the future, as I am interested to see what you do with
all the potential that you guys have. Thanks for the memories, thanks
for the good times, and especially thanks for the friendships. |
