PILGRIM SPEAKEASY'S Moon Emperor album...
Drawing from the worlds sound sources Pilgrim Speakeasy's 'Moon Emperor' mixes an eclectic blend of instruments and vibrations into a groove ridden mellodic and lyrical sonic tapestry with an underlying theme of Evolution and an interest in the human condition and it's effects upon our future existance.
The album 'Moon Emperor' epitomises such eclecticism from the West African kora/percussion/thumb piano, and accoustic mellowness of the title track to the hard and heavy funkadelic rock /funk/synth of 'Lev''to the uptempo catchyness of opener 'Radiators'.
These recordings have been entirely performed ,recorded and produced by Pilgrim Speakeasy somewhare near arctic Finland, with two exceptional performances (Black Mind, Jack and Jill)of vocal gymnastics contributed by Paula Befrits recorded in Kbenhavn. |
