London - September 2003 (Part I)
I stayed in London for a day on my way back from Hungary in September 2003.  It gave me a good opportunity so see the sights since I had a digital camera with night-shot capability.
A night shot of Big Ben and Parliment.
A beautiful hi-res shot of the London Eye.  This obscenely large ferris wheel can provide views of up to 25 miles on a clear day.
A shot of Buckingham Palace with the Victoria Memorial directly behind me.
The Millenium Bridge at night.
The Horse Guards riding past Buckingham during the Changing of the Guard.
The Changing of the Guard takes place at 1130am during the summer months.  Tourists mob the place, so arrive early to get a good view.  When the band started playing Abba's "Dancing Queen" I stopped taking the whole ceremony seriously.
A rather odd statue in the courtyard of Economist Magazine's block.  I'm not sure what commentary the artist was making, but I like it nonetheless.
These two members of the Guard approached the fence in a pre-arranged route.  I'm not sure what significance they hold.
