London - September 2003 (Part I) |
I stayed in London for a day on my way back from Hungary in September 2003. It gave me a good opportunity so see the sights since I had a digital camera with night-shot capability. |

A beautiful hi-res shot of the London Eye. This obscenely large ferris wheel can provide views of up to 25 miles on a clear day. |

The Changing of the Guard takes place at 1130am during the summer months. Tourists mob the place, so arrive early to get a good view. When the band started playing Abba's "Dancing Queen" I stopped taking the whole ceremony seriously. |

A rather odd statue in the courtyard of Economist Magazine's block. I'm not sure what commentary the artist was making, but I like it nonetheless. |

These two members of the Guard approached the fence in a pre-arranged route. I'm not sure what significance they hold. |
