Hong Kong - May 2005
Out of sheer laziness, I didn't shoot many photos on this trip. The photos I did take all seemed to have a "concrete jungle" theme.
I got upgraded to a junior suite at the JW Marriott.  I had a nice view of the harbor.
The Concrete Jungle.
The bustling Victoria Harbor.  The Intercontinental Hotel is the large brown building on the waterfront.
A view down Queen's Road Central to the Bank of China tower.
A night-view of the Bank of China tower.
A night-view of Queen's Road Central.  I like how the motion of the city is captured in the tracer-glow of headlights.
The problem with staying on Hong Kong Island is that the view towards Kowloon is simply not anywhere as stunning as the reverse situation.
