Boracay - December 1999
I couldn't get enough of Boracay on my first visit and decided to spend the Millenium there.  I lived on the island for close to three weeks.  I started going crazy with boredom after the 10th day and took it upon myself to explore every square inch of the place.  These are also scans of photos.
White Beach was still pretty magnificent just a year later. This is a fish farm located in the interior of the island.
This was a pair of rather happy kids from Ilig-Iligan Beach.
The medical facilities I toured while on the island were very rudimentary.  I gave them all of my medical supplies before I left, but wound up treating a few sick and injured tourists for free, while I was there.
These guys put about 10 pigs on spits for the holiday festivities.

Kids playing in the surf on White Beach.  They were all on Christmas Break and making the most of it.
This is Sosimo.  He was a bike-rickshaw driver and this photo is from the previous visit.  He smoked like a fiend and couldn't go very far or fast.  I just wound up buying him a lot of beer. I don't know what became of him.
