Cool Cars |

I love cars. Here are a few of my babies both past and present. |

This is a 1952 MG Td. It was bought by my father way back before I was born and some of my best memories are driving around with him in this as a kid. He pretty much gave it to me for my birthday a few years ago. It's been in the family now for close to 45 years. |

When I graduated medical school and started making a few measly bucks as a resident, I finally got a chance to get the car I always wanted in high school. This is a stunning example of the 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6. I reluctantly sold this car to a good home, and have regretted it ever since. |

This is the 2001 M Roadster. It looks a lot like a Z3, but it has a 315hp engine and extensive mechanical, cosmetic, and performance upgrades. It can supposedly do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. |

This is what is left of the 2001 M after a reckless driver hit me head-on. I survived with a shattered left hand. I credit the sturdy construction of the car with saving me from far worse injury. |

This is a 2002 M Roadster that I found after an exhaustive nationwide search. These are rare cars. There were only 1200 made in 2001 and 600 made in 2002. Ironically, I found this car just five blocks from my home on the very day that I gave up and was heading to the Boxster dealership. |

This is the 2006 Mini Cooper S. It's the best-built BMW on the market today. :) I bought mine after a race-car driver/designer friend of mine took me to the track and mercilessly schooled the exotics. |
