First off the above graphic was not created by me.
I found it at a tub site. The reason for using it
is to give you an idea of what can be created from
scratch, fonts, plugin filters. The above graphic
was originally a font otherwise known in the graphics
world as a ding. The words were created by me using
a plugin called Bladepro. Which the bladepro preset was
made by the Webmaster of Web Elegance.

When I created my first tutorial the desktop wallpaper.
I never realized that I was breaking away from tubes
and other peoples clipart, paintings, creations. It
was'nt until I came up with the two frame tutorials
that it hit me like a ton of bricks. What was the
clincher was visiting a site in which only had graphics
solely from scratch. She had explained the reasons
behind this, which were the following.

It's yours, there is no worry of copywrite infringement.
When you watermark the graphic you are fully protected.
there is no reasons to determine who is leagally protected.
Because you created it from scratch. it is my understanding
that there arises questionable ownership when you use a tub
that someone else made, but you created the graphic in which you
used the tub in. issues of questionable use of tub, clipart is
surfaacing more and more everyday. People are being asked to
remove the graphic from their server or are with no warning
getting slammed with lawsuits.

This to me is questionable, in the sense that even though
they hand painted it by oil, attempting to sell their
artwork via the net. Are'nt we giving them a compliment?
Aren't we advertising their artwork all over the world. For
doing so and promoting more sales for them, should'nt we actually
get something in return? Like free use of the image? Some of
them have hired marketers to sell their images and sell them.
They get paid high rewards for doing so. We do the same thing,
so we should be able to use it to make into stationery or a web
set. As I said this is promoting their product, hopefully making
them money.
