About
Two political men (Roger and Kelly) come to D's PetShop to order the legendary Kirin that is said to grant its master everything he wants or wishes. D cautiously gives them the pet after much thought. The mystical story of the Kirin indulges Roger, and creates much drama. Throughout the whole story, Kelly, puts all his efforts into making the politician happy, along with his good friend and boss's fiance' (Nancy). One day, with the Kirin sitting in the back seat, the two drive up a road where a school bus pivets back and fourth on the road out of control. The two men strive to save the children inside the bus. In conclusion, their car blocks the bus from falling over the cliff, but the two men crash along the rocky edges. This is when the Kirin chooses his master, Kelly. His wish was to make Nancy happy. Kelly ends up in a hospital with Nancy by his side. When he awakens, he notices everyone is calling him Roger, and as he glances to the right of him, he sees his body lying motionless in a hospital bed. The Kirin switched Kelly and Roger's souls into different bodies. Nancy had always been close with Kelly so it wasn't hard for him to fall in love with her. And in the end, he whispered something to her which shocked her into knowing that it was truly Kelly inside of Roger's body.

A special child
The kirin was said to bring a wonderful omen to the master it chooses. Roger, the congressman, decided to buy it because of its legendary skill to make it's master's wishes come true. But while Roger wasn't an unkind man, he was cheating on Nancy. Kelly, his friend and campaigne manager, felt so terrible about the secrets he had to keep, and the excuses he had to tell to Nancy. He devoted himself to making her and Roger happy no matter what. During the middle of the anime, Nancy tells Kelly a very personal wish she had, that at the end of the movie he repeats to her. Her dream was to live in a big house, with lots of kids, and lots of animals. And Kelly wanted to be happy and in love.
