Canberra Sled Dog MarathonOpen Class- 2 heats of 15 km
This was a tough race. The first heat was mostly all up HILL (Up A MOUNTAIN) note my average time is down, its was 21 km/h in the B60 and Freight Run. At the top of the mountain we had a 4 hour rest. To my dogs dismay some one from the Canberra crew shouted pizza like 10 or 15 of them. We took off down the mountain 5 kilo heavier, pushing the brakes to the limits for the next 10 odd km's. I didn't see any one for the rest of the race but checkout 2nd 3rd and 4th. They had a great race to the line.
